Hi, I'm looking to get the i7 4790K(Running @Stock).

I have my eyes on the Noctua NH-D14, NH-D15, NH-U12S and the Cryorig R1 Ultimate, R1 Universal. Those are my only choices as I live abroad.

Questions:

1. Will all of the coolers(NH-U12S is the one I'm worried about) give good, cool performance on high-load tasks(rendering, etc)?

2. Will all of these coolers have decent noise levels?

3. Will all of these coolers have decent RAM clearance?

4. Are the bigger twin-towers worth the money/ram clearance/wiring issues?

Thanks.

The D-14, D-15 and Cryorig R1 Ultimate should really be your choices here, it can get quite hot and if you ever plan to overclock.

The D14 and D15 have great noise levels. The D15 has better ram clearance.

Also look at the Phanteks TC-14PE, same level of cooling performance and very good ram clearance.

If you are concerned with same, look at the AIO coolers with similar performance but not as bulky to fit to the motherboard. H105, H100i GTX, Kraken X61 etc.
