Low FPS in Minecraft all of a sudden.

I could run minecraft on average with 70+ fps. Ever since i pissed off my mom, she she threw my laptop into the air, and while it was charging, the battery fell out. Ever since than, my fps has been horrible. 5-30 FPS. What happened? i've tried numerous things to fix it, and none of it worked.

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.50Ghz

RAM: 8.00GB (7.89 GB usable)

Well, really some stuff can't be fixed. If the motherboard is damaged, there's nothing you can do but buy new. If the hard drive is damaged, you could buy a new one of those. But really, there's nothing we can do. You can only try and poke around to figure out the problem.
