Hi, I'm from Mumbai, India. I'm going to buy a new System and my old PC will remain as it is. I keep interest in gaming & editing videos which require softwares such as Sony Vegas, C4D, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop etc. I won't be playing any games which require 2-3 graphic cards, I think one will be enough. So, I won't be playing new gen games. The best game i'll be playing is DotA 2 in terms of PC requirements, but i'll need a decent build for better performance while using Sony Vegas & After Effects and also the rendering time should be taken into consideration. Also, for old games which I play, I want to have constant 60+ FPS in game while recording using FRAPS. My budget is around 800-1250$(ONE TIME INVESTMENT). I want to use this PC for the next 5-8 years. Sometimes I need to keep it ON for 2-3 days. I don't want it to bottleneck or get damaged because of over heating or reduction in its life, I want it to be smooth for as many years as possible.

GPU - GeForce Nvidia 750 Ti GDDR5 4GB
CPU - i7 4th generation 4790k 4.0 GHZ
RAM - G-Skill Rip Jaws 4x4GB DDR3
SSD - Transcend SSD 2.5 256 GB Desktop Internal Hard Drive (TS256GSSD370)
MoBo - Intel DH87MC 4th Generation Motherboard
PSU - Corsair VS550 550 Watt PSU
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 1 TB Desktop Internal Hard Drive (ST1000DM003)

Please let me know if i'll have to add anything like a Cooling System(not planning to buy a Cooling System but let me know if its really required) or expert advice on the MHZs of RAM or make any other changes in this build.

The rAM is good, the PSU is good. You couldn't possibly notice any bottleneck unless your playing heavier newer games, which you don't so not, no bottleneck. 4x4GB RAM is perfectly enough and will last you for the years to come, and G.skill is also my favorite

The build lloks nice for editing and recording, it's about the best you'd get for that purpose.

For gaming, you'll never be sure if you want to play a new game that comes out within 5-8 years, so I think getting a slightly better GPU would be a good idea just in case you see at least 1 title you'd play in the years to come. a 270x is about $129 so i'd think about that.

As for cooling, since you want your pc on for days sometimes then i'd suggest water cooling over a fan cooler. And a few case fans as well if you can

I'm not a GameJust4Graphics lover. So, I won't be playing new games for sure. About cooling, can you please be more specific or provide me links as I may or may not have basic knowledge in this field.

Thanks for the links to the fan coolers. Regarding Water Cooling, I've found out that Water Cooling will cost 3x/4x more than fan coolers. So, I won't be using WC system.

I need help on the build, whether to buy 1600MHZ RAM 4x4GB/8x8GB OR the GPU should be 2GB instead of 4GB. Is this build going to bottleneck? Also, is its the correct PSU for this build? I just want to make sure that this PC will last for 5+ years.
