So i've just got my new computer because of a few reasons.
1. AMD A10-6700 Quad-core processor.
2. 8GB RAM
3. GDDR3 memory.

Not bad, right? Except that my GPU is an AMD Radeon 8670HD. INTEGRATED.

Not happy about that.

So I was considering buying the AMD Radeon R9 270X because its a beast. But I have 2 questions first that I can't seem to figure out.

1. Will it fit in my PC? (PC dimensions: http://www.cnet.com/products/acer-aspire-tc-105-w-a-series-a10-6700-3-7-ghz-10-gb-1-tb/specs/ ) (GPU Dimensions: http://www.b-com.ca/ASUS-R9270X-DC2T-2GD5-AMD-Radeon-R9-270X-2GB-DDR5-PCI-Express-256Bit-DVI-I-DVI-D-HDMI-DisplayPort-Retail.html ) and

2. Will my PC's power supply be able to take it (300 WATTS).

Oh, and one other thing. I realize that the 6700 is a mediocre CPU, any recommendations for a processor that won't bottleneck the GPu I want thats around 150$?

Thanks for feedback.

You will need a new power supply. Before upgrading to a new power supply you will need to open the case and make sure it is a standard atx size.

You can check if the card will fit by opening your case and measuring. It is the tower model right?

That cpu is an fm2 slot i believe. Nothing much you can do to upgrade sadly.

A 750 Ti will be perfect for your build, it will work with your 300w PSU but i wouldn't recommend it, most likely that PSU is some off brand name that will explode if you put any "mediocre" GPU in there (For real, it will explode eventually)

Since the 750 ti and a 270x are the same price now then a 270x would be a far better choice but you'll need a new PSU either way. I'll check and see if it fits your case

As you have an FM2+ motherboard and A10 is the best you'll get, I do think AMD are coming out with new A10's I think??

I can't tell your case and it isn't on any of the websites i use either, nor does it have measurements for me to examine either. You'll have to measure how much space you have manually and then compare that to the card you get. What's the budget if you were to get a new PSU and a 270x?

I recently ordered the 270, not the 270X, which will arrive in a week of so. I have moved past the 270X because I'm trying to avoid buying a new power supply. Can the 300 watts run the 270? If not, my budget for a good, 600w PSU is under 90$.

Get this which is much cheaper then $90 and will allow further/better future upgrades

Sorry mate, but I live in Canada and on newegg.ca its 140$. I really want to know, is 300w big enough to safely run the 270? If not ill see what I can find on amazon but I'd like to avoid buying a PSU if possible.

You can't avoid buying a PSU for long, seeing how it is a 300w it must not be great quality. If it was a good quality one then yes, since it's not then no. the 270 at stock will draw about 130w max which will probably be to much for your PSU anyway + your other hardware
