im tryin to install 2x4gb corsair vengeance ddr3 onto my gigabyte h55m-52v board but im avin trouble loading windows 7 ultimat

what speed is the memory?

is it ECC or non-ECC memory?

what is the old memory?

can you boot into Safe Mode?

the memory speed is 1600mhz on both the 2x2gb and the 2x4gb. and there both non ecc unbuffered and no I cant run in safe mode screen just locks up. if it makes any difference the 2x2gb are corsair xms3 and the 2x4gb are corsair vengeance. thanks

the XMS3 run at 1.65V and the Vengeance run at 1.5V.

you are not trying to run both memory types at the same time, are you?

So the system works fine with the XMS3, right?

Do you have any memory values manually set in the BIOS or is every thing set to auto?

Have you tried to reset the BIOS after plugging in the Vengeance?

HI YES THE SYSTEM WORKS FINE WITH THE XMS3 AND THERE SET TO AUTO AND NO IVE NOT RESET THE BIOS
