Let's say I can completely disassemble a Corsair H60 cooler. There are two parts; the Pump / Waterblock (one part) and the Radiator (one part) and both are attached to each other through two plastic tubes (for transferring liquid).

I am able to remove the plastic tubes and leave just the Pump / Waterblock as one piece (with power cable) and I'm assuming I can find the right size tubing for standard water cooling to fit this. Now, here's the big question. Can I use the Pump / Waterblock as a regular pump for a regular water cooling system? For example, I have a EX-360 sitting around and I've been thinking about using this part of the H60 as the pump.

the short answer is no most AIO use aluminum rads so its not useable . then you have they use a thicker fluid then water since there maintenance free so cleaning them ant even worth it . its safer to just build your own custom loop , the pumps they come with mostly suck . if you get a swiftech h220x ect ones that are meant to be expanded there fine, but h100i ect ant

the pump is made for that cooler, flow resistance, water amount, tubing length. assuming the cooling blocks/radiator have the same resistance as the original and the tubing size is not increased too much, water weight through the larger radiator may foul the pump, as it is made for a much smaller loop.
I'm not an expert at water cooling/coolers, but basic plumbing is basic plumbing.

if you notice the waterblock/pumps on larger units are, well larger, the water block is not getting bigger which leaves the pump.
it will work, for a while then it will fail. how long a while is is anyone guess.
