So I'm looking for a device that extends my wifi to downstairs (for phones and laptops etc.) but also uses power lines to give me highspeed for the desktop computer also located downstairs (if my understanding of those power line adapters is correct).
I've checked myself and I can see devices like these that might do the job:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Linksys-PLWK400-Powerline-Wireless-Extender/dp/B008B424RE/ref=cm_cd_al_qh_dp_t
But I'm unsure which is going to be the best option for me, I have 152Mbps virgin broadband and would like to get as much of that speed as possible. Basically this is unfamiliar territory for me for these devices and I don't want to make the mistake of getting a device that only has some of the functionality I require.
Thank you for the help.
