I have a recent, 1st build. NOTE: I am not a gamer, but this new build has me wanting to play The Witcher 3 when it comes out, so I purchased the EVGA GTX960 4GB SSC to replace an older, reused Card (EVGA GT630) from previous computer

Again, I am not a gamer, will never OC, plus I cant due to chipset, nor am I looking to OC purposely. I just want to play the game above and I am ok if I cant play on ultra settings, etc...

However, when my Graphics Card arrived, I started searching some things and found that my current PSU (Corsair CX750M) is not favorable due to cheap part quality and want to replace this component.

So, I am now on the hunt for a replacement PSU and need recommendation. I read often that Seasonic is good, but I am clueless as to which. I am ok with other brands recommended too. Budget: I guess nothing more than 125.00 or close to it.

Here is my modest build: (Again, I am not an extreme gamer or even gamer, just want to play a game. I mostly use my PC for heavy normal home use (picture editing, some home video stuff, surfing, etc...)

Why in gods name would anyone suggest replacing a perfectly fine & working cx750 on a build that will NEVER pull more than 350w??

Kezug - put your money back in your Wallet, you don't need to replace it ,its absolutely fine ,the CX psu's are absolutely nowhere near as bad as they're made out to be on the forums & at the kind of load your pushing on it ,it should last forever.

Thanks for the replies!

When I say to replace...I should have said return..since I am still with 30 day window.

It does seem that the CX series gets a lot of Whiplash about being built with crappy parts...so that really gave me reason to start this thread.
I just don't want the PSU to be the weak link..especially after the return window.
