A couple of days ago, i started having some weird graphical problems. It all started with some blue lines on the screen, vertically. It is not a problem with the monitor though, because these blue lines would only show up on black spaces, like my black desktop background.

I went to device manager, and it said that one of my Nvidia GeForce GT755M cards (check specs for explanation) was stopped, because it was reporting problems (code 43). I updated my drivers with GeForce Experience, and got nothing. Uninstalled everything, ran DDU, reinstalled, and again, nothing. Everything was extremely slow, and after trying the whole day, i ended up downloading Windows 7, removing my ultrabay graphics card (my interior. faultry Nvidia GeForce was still running), and doing a clean install.

Windows 7 for some reason was only showing up in BIOS if i enabled legacy boot, so so i did. Everything ran fine, even though my interior GeForce was still reporting Code 43. I tried re-insterting my ultrabay graphics card, and got a blank screen on boot, together with a short, single beep-tone. I could hear the system boot up, and was even able to log in and hear the characteristic Windows 7 log-on sound, but my monitor remained blank.

DxDiag says that i am running on my Intel HD graphics, when the ultrabay is disconnected.

What is the problem here? SLI? How can i disable it?

I have not changed any settings related to graphics cards or SLI since i got my PC about a year ago.

SPECS:

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, build 7600)
Model: Lenovo Y510P
BIOS: InsydeH20, latest version.
Proc: Intel i7-4700MQ @ 2.40GHz (8 CPUs)
Memory: 16gigs
DirectX version: DX11

Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GT755M5 Ultrabay

I THINK that i am running SLI, but i am not sure.. As mentioned before, i havent changed anything from the default Lenovo setup.
