I'm looking for a radiator for my custom loop, and i was wandering if a 420mm would suffice for a cpu and single gpu loop. I dont have a K processor, so the overclocking would be going to the GTX 780 ti.

I have 2 options for the 420mm radiator. Either i can get the Magicool 420 slim copper raditor or the XSPC EX420 radiator.

The Magicool if 30mm thickness and 14 fins per inch, while the XSPC is 36mm thick with a fin density of 19.

I didn't do a custom loop but I have closed coolers on everything in my pc. I have a 120mm corsair h55 on each of my 7950s and a h100i on my i7 4790k and it seems to do great. It takes a lot of overclocking to heat soak either of my 7950s radiators but they are overvolted to 1.3 instead of the factory 1.25. So if you are doing only 1 card and 1 gpu a 420mm should be more than enough as long as you can get good airflow through it. Just to note my h100i is on a push pull and both of the h55s are just pulling right now because of space issues
