Help to check compatibility of CPU, GPU, MB

Hi folks.

I am experiencing low fps ( 14-24 ) when I play different games . I'm not even aware of what I can or should do to fix the problem.
Should I re-install everything or purchase new parts? I hope you can help me.

I have these parts:
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3
processor: AMD phenom(tm) ii x6 1090t processor 3.2ghz
Graphicscard: MSI GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB GAMING
RAM: Kingston hyperx genesis ddr3 2x4gb khx1600c9d3x2k2/8gx
ssd: Kingston SSDNow SV300S3B7A/120G

I'm playing LOL, CS:GO and Infinite crisis, highest resolution, but medium or low graphics. I have tried on low resolution aswell, same problem.

I don't know how to OC and is it safe? I have heard that it might make the pc melt down?

OC is safe if you know what you doing

* Not Including LN2 OC
For your CPU safe parameters are:
Vcore max 1.475V
Temperature max 62°C * more will slowly degrade your CPU

Overclocking is 100% safe as long as you keep your CPU under 70c

I have the stock cooler on the cpu heatsink, I believe it is a 80 mm fan. I clean it regularly. Will it help the overall preformance to get new heatsink and cooler?

It wouldn't necessarily help your performance by getting a new one, it will allow you to overclock to higher speeds and stay cooler to do so.

Overclocking with stock coolers is bad news, if you can then getting a Hyper 212 Plus would help a lot.

I have put the hyper 212 plus in, played a game of lol. Now I can run it at 60fps at highest settings. I didnt know the temperature did that much! before the temperature was at 68 when playing, now it's 31. anyways thanks a lot !
