What's Wrong With My Pc? (High fan speed startup and super hot GPU)

Hello. I have had my computer for almost a year now and have had almost no problems with it. It was great for gaming (not too hardcore gaming). About a week ago I installed a new CPU (AMD FX-8350). And about a week later, today I started up my PC and the fans are running abnormal fast idle. My cpu wasn't hot at all. I started up the game "Trove" and soon it got even faster but the CPU only got warm and the GPU got really hot. I even ran it without the GPU in and the fans still started fast. Please help

Specs:http://pcpartpicker.com/user/humanized/saved/K7xV3C (replaced the cpu with AMD FX-8350

CPU: AMD FX-4300 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: MSI 760GMA-P34(FX) Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Western Digital RE3 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Asus Radeon R7 260X 2GB DirectCU II Video Card
Case: Thermaltake VL80001W2Z ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer

You should put a 2 x 4gb ram kit in it. Otherwise, it looks OK

From Afterburner, what GPU temps are you getting - at idle and while gaming?

33C Idle

I started "Trove" on low settings and It stayed at about 47C and the curved metal rods on the GPU were fairly warm, but the I put it on Ultra settings (which I have never had GPU heat problems or fast fan speeds) and it went up to about almost 65C. I fear that trying to run Mortal Kombat will mess with my PC

http://www.msi.com/support/mb/760GMAP34_FX.html#support-cpu says a FX8350 is compatible.

The board only has 3+1 power phases and no heatsink on the VRM. I'd strongly advise against overclocking the CPU on it.

The 990 and 990fx chipset motherboards were brought out especially to use with the fx 8 core CPUs. eg Gigabyte ga 990fx UD3.

33C idle and 47C gaming is cool for a GPU.

What CPU temps are you getting at idle and while gaming?

What fans are doing what rpm?

when idle: GPU fan is 1100rpm. Case fans are: 3300rpm
Gaming: GPU is 1800rpm and Case fans are 4000rpm

Edit: Whoops. I forgot you said CPU. I'll check right now.

Edit:CPU idle is 9C. Gaming is 30C

I'm using this programhttp://openhardwaremonitor.org

I don't know what I read wrong. It's late and this is all giving me a headache. All I know is that my fans are running ridiculously fast upon startup and my gpu is way hotter to the touch than normal (on the curved metal rods)

Well i7Baby, with the information I gave you so far, what do you suppose I do? Because I don't want to turn on my PC again cause it's late and my roommate is sleeping. Or if you need me too get the cpu temps, I'll do it tommarow.

Ok real CPU temps

Idle jumps between 35C and almost 55C
Gaming Is what is confusing me. My CPU0 is at almost 40 percent and yet the highest temp the cores get is 40C (the number jump constantly. ( this is with AMD OverDrive )

Edit: I checked the TEMPIN4 and its at 244C which is kinda ridiculous, so I think it could be the sensors?

Sounds good. I'll add it to my wishlist but am I having sensor errors? My fans maintain the same fast speed even when I set it to min. I am more than happy to replace my motherboard. Should I? And will this fix my fan problem? Also when I check GPU temp with this program, the number doesn't move but CPU is all over the place? I don't know if its the motherboard sensors though. I cant exactly tell.

Vcore is jumping from 0.875v to 1.225v and no overclock when Idle but when I started a game it jumps from 1400Mhz to 4200Mhz. I dont know if thats my sensors or normal

I would've got a new mobo before getting the 8350. If you can then get one. The newer board sensors work better. And you can easily use them to OC the CPU if you want.

See http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2384008/motherboard-tier-list-990fx-chipset.html

eg http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/compare/asrock-motherboard-990fxkiller%2Casus-motherboard-m5a99xevor20%2Cgigabyte-motherboard-ga990fxaud3/ - depending on your budget.

Just to be clear. I should choose one of those motherboards, put all the parts in the new one and my fans shouldn't go out of wack and the temps will be recorded more accurately?
