Do you need to change your boot order when you get a new drive?

I'm getting an SSD that I want to use for my software / games. Do I just plug it into my pc and boot it (then partition it) or do I have to change the BIOS?

Unless you plan to use it for your OS (Boot Drive) then just plug it in and format it and your done put whatever you want on it.

If you want to make it easier you can remove your drives and plug in your ssd and then re install your OS. It will pick your SSD up as the only drive in the system

I don't have the OS CD and I didn't really wanna do that anyway. Haha
