Hi I have a question. I currently have and athlon x4 750k 3,9ghz an Sapphire r7 260x and a 430w psu, and I want to upgrade. my two options are getting and GTX 960 replacing my sapphire r7 260x and keeping the rest, or doing a full upgrade getting a new psu new mobo new gpu and new cpu. ofcourse the second option is the most expensive. or is it just enough for now to get an gtx 960 and wait for 2 years for an new full upgrade?

I live in the netherlands (So PC components are fairly priced) and I have a Corsair CX 430 v2. But is it worth getting a GTX 960 now and Waiting a few years for a big upgrade? or saving up a little and do a big upgrade now

So as conclusion I should go for the first option getting an GTX 960 2gb and gettings an upgrade later in like 2 years or maybe sooner 1.5 years. Also do you guys think that 2gb vram is enough to game at high or higher settings in games like gta 5 at 40 to 60fps

On its release I was unimpressed with the 128bit bus but now its been out a few months I don't really have a problem with it - clever texture compression means it performs far better than you would expect.
Over 50% of pc gamers own a card with 2gb or less - at 1080p I don't think its any massive problem
Whether id take a 280 over it would be price dependant - if they're close in price id take the 960 - if the 280 is considerably cheaper then that (you would be very close to the limit on the PSU with a 280 though ).

Look i'm still in doubt because I don't know for sure about the 2gb vram mainly for games like GTA5. also a friend of mine said to just wait for the new 300 series from AMD because the prices will drop form the GTX 960, But i'm currently not happy with my r7 260x, mainly because it can only get just 30fps in gta 5 so I can't really wait any longer.

Spend the extra $15-20 and get the 4GB version of the GTX 960; then you won't have to sweat that decision. And the NV card will run on your power supply as long as you have at least one 6 pin PCIEx power connection (be certain in shopping that you get a card that only takes one PCIEx power connection.
The AMD card tend to use more power then the 900 series NV cards.
