i am looking for a mother board which can be fit inside the DS380 case.

the mother board must support the following:

1- dual Socket R3 (LGA2011).

the objective here is to have a 8 bay encloser in a nas shape with 1 internal harddisk minimum for system disk.i dont want full tower pc or any rack mount hardware. this system should be able to support installing a cpu with passmark 16000 and there is dual socket for future upgrade.also need ddr4 memory suport. also a 10gig drive with 4 ports is required. i will appreciate if these requirement can be fulfilled with the minimum power consumption for a 24/7 running system. cooling is a main factor and the case should be extreme silent with full harddisks loaded.

the system will be an esxi host which will be handling some vms. some of them for file sharing other for straming 1080p , back up system and other different services. the number of bays, memory and cpu speed has been calculated based on the services requirement and add 25% for future upgrade.

i am open for anything to fulfill these requirements. i dont mind change the case if there is other one with a nas shape.

i will appreciate if you can help me guyse on the list of items need to be purchased for such a project.

the budget is 3000$ without disks

appreciate all the help in advance

Best regards

AD Funky

Note: This case will be attached to the network. i dont have any gpu requirements. also ram will start by 16GB.

Well, apparently it supports miniITX and mini DTX - it's highly doubtful you'll find a dual socket board fitting those constraints. I've never encountered one, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.
