[strike]No system details, so not going to be much help.[/strike] ASUS P8Z77-V

Since computers can boot so quickly, motherboard manufacturer's have started adding BIOS buttons on higher end motherboards. At a minimum they should have provided a set of keyboard keys to hold down, or spam, during startup to get into the BIOS.

You can find such details in your motherboard manual.

Another twist on newer computers. If you have a fancy keyboard sometimes they don't work until Windows has booted. In which case you will need to pick up a cheap USB keyboard.

Just start spamming the BIOS key (whatever your manual says) the moment you hit the power button. SSDs and UEFI BIOSs boot so fast these days you often don't get the old message to enter setup anymore. Some BIOSs have settings to slow the process down. If you have Windows 8 you can do a Restart with advanced options to enter BIOS on Restart. See method #2 in this article for Win 8-
