In the process of deciding on parts. I plan to one day overclock my i7 and SLI. I bought an EVGA 980 FTW a while back from Newegg when it was on sale for nearly $80.

Would I need 850W or will 750W be fine.

The final build with everything:

i7 4790k OC to 4.4GHz
Asus Z97-A
8-16GB (not quite sure yet)
SLI EVGA 980 FTW
850 EVO 500GB

Solution
750W will more than enough power. Get a EVGA G2 or a XFX XTR. Great price and great quality.
