hey guys,

i know that these cards are not that good but it was an gift so it´s what i have. I´ve tried to make them work on crossfire thing and i cant. Tried everything that i could. Formatted my pc 4 times. Reinstalled CCC drivers and softwares 10 times and Catalyst still showing me crossfire option is disabled , dont let me select to enable and shows a message asking me to connect the crossfire interconectors. This version of GPU doesnt have theses interconnectors. It should work automaticlly.

PC:
CPU: AMD FX 6300
Motherboard: Asus M5A96 LE R2.0
Memory: 16 gb DDR3 1866
GPU´s: XFX Radeon R7 260x 2gb DDR5
PSU: 725 watts

I´ve tried everything that my imagination let me. Change cards slots. Tried GPU´s individually and works fine. With both GPU´s connected windows device manager shows them normal. When i connect the HDMI cable to both cards individually it´s shows the windows screen normally. I really dont know what am i doing wrong. Help pls.

best regards,

here is your motherbd, please visit the site.
on the left hand side of the screen it tells you it has support for Quad GPU Crossfire and yet it only has two x16 slots (with only 1 of them able to work in x16 mode). LMAO

While you may have been able to xfire older boards with an x4 link, todays boards need more bandwidth so the info is not longer completely accurate.
