The GTX 960 is a much newer card. I bought one this year and nicely overclocked it to 1500Mhz gpu clock speed and 9Ghz memory clock and 1180Mv voltage. It is very quiet and cool (never got over 70 degrees). I would say if you want to do gaming, go for the GTX 960.

The GTX 960 has more features and gets a better overclock and fps on most games.
