Hello,

I've been looking to fully upgrade my XPS 8500 to accommodate my GTX 970. I've already looked into getting these parts:

(SSD)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=0D9-0021-00005&cm_re=silicon_power_s60_3k-_-0D9-0021-00005-_-Product

(new case)

RAM (I'd like to have dual-channeling and higher quality parts)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428&cm_re=G.SKILL_Ripjaws_X_Series_8GB_%282_x_4GB%29-_-20-231-428-_-Product

and a possible new wi-fi card (router is 802.11ac)

So, my question is, what PSU could I get to support the additions I'm making with the GTX 970 (which is 2 x 6-pin) and such (that would also fit into the new case I listed)? I'm not very comfortable with the stock 460w PSU so I'd like to upgrade...
Also, would I need to get a new motherboard/anything else as well?

Any help with the PSU/other parts would be extremely appreciated. I'm not very knowledgeable on the subject so I need a lot of assistance, heh. :)
Thank you so, so much!

Solution
Any standard PSU will fit in the 200R. I would personally go with either a Seasonic of Corsair and at least do a 80+ gold certified for quality.
