My computer specs:
Processor Intel core I7 4790k
Motherboard: ASRock Z97Extreame4
Ram: 16 gigs
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
Storage: 1 ssd 250 gigs, 2 TB Hardrive.

What I want: I want three monitors with at least 120hz and a desk with a large amount space for the mouse pad. I currently play high fps shooters such as csgo and battle feild. I can upgrade my graphics card.

Solution
Three VG248QEs will cost ya around $800. Desks because of their weight, you wanna get locally to reduce shipping. Look at some of these for mountings

Also wood, plastic, metal ?

can always grab a Harbinger Desk

You shouldn't need to update your graphics card.
BUT specifically which gtx 970 do you have, they don't all have 3 outputs that support 120hz displays.
It's best to go to a local furniture store to find a desk. And they make 3 monitor mounts/stands so you can by with less deskspace than neccesary for 3 monitors because they'll all by on one central point.

And are you going to game at the resolution of all 3 monitors combined?

As others have already pointed out, if you plan to combine resolutions you're going to need a bit more brawn in terms of graphical rendering.
A single 970 is going to struggle heavily there, and at pretty much anything relatively recent you'll throw at it. CS:GO will likely be fine, but any other recent FPS won't be so lucky.

Get the desk at a local furniture shop. It's easier, you risk less for any damages that may occur to it, you get to actually see it and feel it in real life (rather than watching a silly 3D model, if available) and you likely also pay less (low to non-existent shipping taxes related to cargo insurance, size or weight).
As per the monitors, I'm not that much of an expert. I can only vouch for the VG248QEs being a very nice choice since I own one, but I usually hear the most random marvels about BenQ ones, so you might want to give a look at them too.
