"Ethernet" doesn't have a valid IP configuration

The other day I logged into my Window 8.1 PC and noticed that my ethernet connection wasn't working. I tried diagnosing it and the only error it gives me is "Ethernet doesn't have a valid IP configuration."

I've tried restarting the modem and my computer and unplugging the ethernet cable but nothing seems to work.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Please let me know if you need anymore information.

I've tried all of those and nothing worked. When I try to release my IP it tells me that there isn't one to release or something along those lines. And then when I try to renew it, it says it can't contact the DHCP server.

I logged into my modem and checked the DHCP settings but everything looks normal.
I also uninstalled my ethernet drivers and reinstalled them but that didn't help either.

Any other advice?

EDIT: When I run the Network troubleshooter, this is the report it gives me. Not sure if it's of any help or not but it's worth a shot.
