Hello everyone
If anyone have got an intel G3258 overclocked please post the voltage required for the oc &clock speed as well as any other tweaks in bios also if the system is stable or not ? Share your experience

My Rig Specifications:
Processor: intel G3258
Cooler : Stock Cooler
mother board: asus H81M-v3(bios version 2003)
Ram: Gskill ripjaw 4G DDR3 1600mhz runs at 1400mhz and oc using intel xmp profile
Psu: seasonic s12ii bronze 520w
hd: WD blue 1TB
GPU: NONE
Case : a decent one
operating system: windows 7 professional 64bit

I managed to raise the cpu core ratio to 40mhz (sync all core), decrease the cpu voltage (vcore) to 1.152, enabled xmp provided in asus bios version 2003 - LLC is set to medium(25%) & BLCK is set to [100:100] and everything else is set to auto. the system is stable now after running intel burn test the max temperature recorded was 72 degree Celsius under heavy load and under idle load the temperature is 39-40 degree Celsius. the stock cooler fan speed is set to standard which is 1,200 rpm while in stress test and can get up to 2,100 Rpm in (turbo mode)

Read the guide - there's one here some where... That's a general guide; just to get you learning the ropes. Here's one specific to that processor, but the thing is - there maybe motherboard/CPU specifications you'll need to know about so as not to damage your components. For me - I've got my i7 - 4790K OC'ed to only at 4.6 GHz because it was quick and easy, and I don't have a lot of time to push it further. There are a lot of dangers in OC'ing; to just post what you did seems like you want to quickly OC your system without at least knowing what can happen. Anyway... http://www.overclockersclub.com/guides/intel_pentium_g3258_oc_guide/
