Hey guys,,so since yesterday i am running into bsods(its happened around 5 times yesterday only) and i have no idea why. I downloaded Whocrashed and analyzed which gave the following result:

On Mon 5/11/2015 9:12:29 PM GMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\051215-14437-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: netio.sys (0xFFFFF8000081A43F)
Bugcheck code: 0xD1 (0x28, 0x2, 0x0, 0xFFFFF8000081A43F)
Error: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
file path: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\netio.sys
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: Network I/O Subsystem
Bug check description: This indicates that a kernel-mode driver attempted to access pageable memory at a process IRQL that was too high.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in a standard Microsoft module. Your system configuration may be incorrect. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver on your system that cannot be identified at this time.

Last time i was getting bsods,it was due to quick heal 2014 getting into some errors,,so i uninstalled it and it went away. This time though i have no idea why this is happening because it shows Microsoft Windows Operating System. Recently i made only two changes to my system.First,i upgraded quick heal which added some new features and second i tried to upgrade my GPU drivers which didn't work.So i uninstalled amd drivers and re-installed them hoping that would solve the problem but it didnt. So here i am having no idea what is causing this and i am really worried since this might be a hardware problem. So guys please help me out here.

Solution
Most times that I see this DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD, its related to a game. But, it can be any piece of software that has a bug or three in it.

Its really hard for us to diagnose something that we do not use. I have to say that if you had problems with Quick Heal before, and now you just updated that and the same error comes back, I am suspicious of that program. AMD could also be at fault, but there are so many people using those drivers, I am pretty sure we would be hearing all about it now if 500,000 were all getting that. And so far, I have not seen anyone blaming and crashes on their AMD drivers.

This is two years old. But maybe it will help you with whats going on...

First of all check all drivers are up to date, go safe mode to do a diagnose with network enable. download driver updater, this software will find corrupted and outdated driver.

Secondly Blue screen can also be caused by either An overheated processor or undervoltage. Check the heatsink if its well fitted to the processor, check your temperature with coretemp. Resit all parts such as ram, graphic card etc.

If the problem persist easy way is to do a fresh installation or repair windows. Then carefully install the right drivers.

keep posting to get more help

Well the drivers are not up to date, and i dont think the problem is overheating, though the processor temp stays around 42+

that is a DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL generic error googling it will likely give you tons unrelated results.... you need to look into what caused the BSOD and to do that you need to look into the memdump file. Microsoft has a debug diag tool available https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2580960 according to the error post your crash dump file is here crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\051215-14437-01.dmp and this file path: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\netio.sys appears to be the likely culprit i would guess probably a memory leak.

Neto.sys is a network component. You will need to update your Ethernet drivers to fix it.

I would suggest just do a fresh installation of the Windows save you more time trying..and install the driver one by one.. If you can't do a fresh Windows installation then better option is to uninstall all drivers, do a registry clean up then install them back On.
