Mixing and matching GPU (970 Sli)

Hello Guys,

I currently own a Palit Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 Graphics Card. Would i be able to buy an Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 Strix Graphics Card and sli both the cards?

My case is an NZXT H440, my motherboard is an Asus VII HERO.

Yes, you can mix brands, you just can't mix chip sets, ie any two 970's should work together just any quicker one will under clock down to the slower one. You can't mix a 970 and 980 or a 770 and 970.
