Hi, how are you? I finished my high-end gaming/workstation build however I'm torn between the vast variety of GPU choices here! I already have one GTX 780 (non ti) twin frozr edition. However I want to run modern games at 4K or at least 1440p resolution with silky smooth fps. My budget is 700 dollars for the new GPU(s). I was thinking of buying another GTX 780 but then thought it wouldn't be good enough. Are any of these choices good for these resolutions?

GTX 970 SLI
MSI r9 295X2
GTX 980 SLI (If I can get it under 700 :D)

Let me know if these choices are fine or if you have any recommendations! Thank you so much for your help!

I've heard with the new 300 series will be cost above $700, do not know who was right but, with cheaper price you can choose GTX 970, it graphics cards is just $350 with 2 games free; Witcher 3 and Batman Arkham Knight http://allcomputerhardware.tk/vga/evga-geforce-gtx-970-ssc-acx-2-0-4gb-gddr5-256bit-dvi-i-dvi-d-hdmi-dp-sli-ready-graphics-card-04g-p4-3975-kr/ The best offer at this time

Your only option is either the GTX 970s or the 295x2, since the 980s cost 600 each. But I would wait since the current gtx 970 have that pesky memory issue that will definitely present itself at 4k resolution. And the R9 295X2 has really poor driver support and isn't really worth the hassle. My advice would be to wait for the new GTX 980Ti or AMD 390X. I think Nvidia will release a new version of the gtx 970 with 8GB vram that will eliminate the vram issue.

He is playing at 4k, with the memory issue of the 970, I would advise against buying the current generation 970s, and wait until the new one comes out.
