I got myself a seasonic gold 850watt psu a long time ago, and its fck awesome PSU. Its insanly queit and looks awesome has nice quality cables and feels fine itself.
But i wonder about the hybrid mode.
I reconized that when u turn on hybrid mode the fans stops spinning, so whats the point of it i know it comsumes less power, but my question is.
What do you prefer leave it at hybrid because i have my pc on the carpet and the psu is facing up to the card, or should i leave it to normal?
And does the psu on normal blows the dust or pulls the dust?

Solution
The main point is to keep it quiet when the system isn't using much power. When the power draw goes up and the psu get warm the fan will kick on to cool it off. The fan on the psu is an intake fan and it blows the hot air out the back.
