Hello all, I made a post yesterday asking for a build. Sure enough, the community on Tom's came through with a few great configurations. I chose the one I thought would suit my needs the best, and now I'd like to run it by the forums to get the largest range of advice. My gaming will include games like ESO, Battlefront, BF4, Arma 3, various AAA games. I'm after 60 fps/1080p/high-ultra and the most silent idle and gaming performance that can be achieved in my price range. I'm especially wondering whether there is a need to get the i5-4690, 4690K, and the MSI 970 for the quiet factor.

Solution
If you are interested in overclocking later(will want to add a cpu cooler before you oc). Here'a a build.

CPU is not capable of overclocking, the motherboard is.

You should purchase memory in sets of 2 to enable dual channel memory.

Corsair CX600 is not a very good power supply.

Not much difference between noise levels on axial cooled cards like those. So either is fine. Strix will actually go fanless until certain temperatures are reached.
