Hello,

My motherboard died so i have to replace her. i had hp2af7 with i5-4440 6gb ram and gtx770.
I am planning to upgrade to asus z97-A or asus H97M-E.
Is z97 overkill for me?? I will keep my cpu, I don't plan to overclock, or sli. In the future i might upgrade to an i7 but in more than 3 years.
ps: i will upgrade my ram to 8gb 1600
ps2: is coolermaster 212 evo and deepcool da700 psu ok for this mobo??

Thanks in advance.

You don't need Z97 because it's not an overclockable cpu therefore buying z97 would be throwing money away. You don't cpu cooler for your cpu, it will work fine with the stock intel cooler you got with the cpu, save money for something else. I would buy Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H motherboard because I don't like mATX mobos but H97M-E will be just fine. As for PSU you don't need more than 550W so I would buy XFX 550W, it's around 50$ if I'm correct.
