Hello I was hoping to build a new PC as my motherboard decided to die in a storm (I know for sure it is so don't worry lol and also my HDD decided death was agreeable as well)

I have a 1k $ budget and need some assistance on how to build one easily.

1. Do I need wifi adapters or any extra parts like that? I had tried custom PC builder dot com or something like that but didn't know exactly what parts are necessary.

2. I want to have Windows 7, it doesn't matter which one of the series either.

3. I have a Corsair PSU that I bought not too long ago CX600 if I can use that in my build I'd like that)

4. Intel i7 would be preferred but if AMD has a cheaper as powerful or more powerful option I'll take it

5. I would like a NVidia GPU higher than the 650 I had if possible as well

7. My old HDD is 1TB if I could keep that or increase it a bit I'd appreciate that.

And finally 8. I would prefer a PC that doesn't require me to put coolant or water on it every so often if possible so no super computer lol.

Any ideas?

I would advise against using the Corsair CX PSU. Especially since you can get this nice one for so cheap. You don't need an i7 for gaming.

The build is a bit over budget* but has a cpu that is almost identical to a I7 and the 290X is close to a GTX 970.

The price of the GTX 970 can be purchased around the same cost so the decision between the two is up to the OP. I'd probably go with the 970 for cooler temps/less power usage. The price can also be lowered significantly by swapping out the Xeon for a I5-4590.
