Hi guys,
I found various threads here with the exact trouble that I am facing up with now. After re-setting up my mainboard (for cleaning up), I loaded 2 RAM to the last place it was (1 - 3) and it couldn't boot up even to the bios screen. Going to 1-2 is fine but it shows up Single Channel boosting only when fetch up from CPUz. 1 RAM is also ok but if only not to use the 3 OR 4 slot.

I have tried all these solutions:
- Clean up the ram and ram slots.
- Upgraded BIOS to latest version.
- Reset BIOS
- Take off the battery for a while then reinstall it and reboot pc.
- Re-arrange the CPU fan a little bit as some said it could take affect on the pins around.
- Remove one or two screws holding the motherboard.

And none of them worked

Here is my specs:
+ Mainboard: Gigabyte Z87X - UD3H.
+ CPU: Intel Core i7 4770k
+ RAM: Cosair Dominator Plantium (8gb x 2).
+ Power: Cooler Master 700w

So any other idea?
Thanks a lot...

Solution
If it boots in slots 1-3 it's normal MC, or mobo - but quite often can be the CPU cooler is too tight in a corner or side, throwing the CPU and thus the MC (memory controller) out of level (doesn't get full contact with all pins, try loosening the cooler then snug it back down screw tight, (just snug and then try in 1-3 or 2-4

Try using 1 ram stick first, boot to windows, if succesful shutdown and remove the ram no.1, and install ram no.2 on the same slot and run it again, if succesful add ram no.1 to slot 3 and boot again, and see if windows recognize both ram. you can also try slot 2 and 4. if it doesn't work then either the slot or the stick is broken.

Personal experience. Happens to me everytime I reassemble my components after cleaning.
