If there is a "GDDR5 Graphics Card PCIe 3.0 and needs x16" and I have a "MOBO that has PCIe 2.0 x8 slot":
Will the GPU still at least work in that MOBO at 1/4th the efficiency or speed?
( PCIe 3.0 to PCIe 2.0 means half the speed, then again x16 to x8 means half the speed so in total it is 1/4, right
)
Or is there anything that is not matching up or I am missing in here?
