Cheapest GPU for Borderlands 2!

I want to know what is the cheapest GPU for Borderlands 2 Linux edition for 1360x768 maxed out. A friend recommended me the nVidia GT 730 but I feel it's a little weak. Are there any other options for not much more(750 Ti is out of my budget).
Any help is welcome!!

You will not be needing more than 2 gigs of VRAM running at 1366x768 resolution. Almost any game can be maxed out at that small resolution. I would honestly recommend the 750ti, try to save a little more, but if the 730 will be fine as well at that resolution.

VRAM usage tier: Resolution takes up the most, than texture quality, than Anti-aliasing (AA can use quite a bit if you really are cranking it), but at that resolution you will have no issues.

At that resolution though older cards would really shine. The GTX 480 for instance would demolish any game at that res, or even the 580. You could go through ebay for those.

GT 740 where I live-90-120 euros
GTX 650 Ti-119,99 euros
GTX 750-124,99 euros
Are there any major performance differences between the GT 730 2GB and the 4GB one outside ov vRAM? Would I benefit from more vRAM for the Physx effects?

I know the 750 Ti would be good but the pricing where I live (180 euros) could buy me a R9 270. Problem is AMD gpu's may not work with Borderlands on Linux.

i seriously dont think so

the ddr5 version of gt 730 is the strongest as far as gaming performance goes not the 4gb

and the gt740 is not too mutch faster than a gt 730 get the gtx 650 ti if thats in your range
