Before I start, here is my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/xqcmqs

I was playing some games and noticed spontaneous slows. I checked the temperature of my CPU and saw it was soaring at an upwards of 85 degrees Celsius. So, I shut down my computer, disconnected everything and took out the heatsink to clean the dust off the fan. When I put it back in, the computer was not powering up at all.

At this point, I've disconnected everything from the mobo aside from the cpu, fan, and psu and still nothing. I've tried the paperclip test on my psu and it works, but if I connect the 4-pin and 24-pin back into the motherboard, the PSU won't work. I know the switch isn't faulty because occasionally I hear the same small squeak with the paperclip test if I reset the power completely.

I also checked the CPU, no bent pins, looks normal.

So what should I do now? I'm at a complete loss at what I should do.

The pins all seemed fine, I've readjusted the cpu several times now, still nothing. Should be worth noting that I haven't even touched the cpu until this point. Could it really be the cpu? The computer didn't really die on me as I was using it. I was able to shut down and turn it back on several times while it still had the over heating issue.
