Currently I have an AMD FX-4300, a GTX 750 ti, and a regular hard drive. Should I get a 128gb ssd, an intel cpu like the i5-4590, or a new gpu like an R9 280? I also mainly play the game called osu! and just browse the web and play videos and edit 20+ page documents.

CPU would be the best upgrade but that would require you to swap out your motherboard which won't be inexpensive as a whole. GPU upgrade will increase your FPS but your bottleneck in terms of performance will still be your CPU for gaming.

An upgrade that you feel everyday in terms of the quickness of your system is a solid state. If it were me, I would purchase a 250GB Samsung 850 Evo and call it a day for the moment until you're ready to overhaul your system. When you're ready, select the current gen of Intel i5 CPU and it's corresponding Z-series motherboard. The Nvidia 960 is a step up from your 750ti but I would hold until they release their next series if you're happy with your frames per second.
