Hey RastaManHG,

There's a specific guide on overclocking your cpu. The average overclock for your cpu lies somewhere in 4.4ghz. However dont forget that an average oc is an average between lower speeds and higher speeds. Your chip may vary well be one of the chips that has a max overclock below 4.4Ghz.

That said this article explains a lot and guides you through overclocking that chip. This guy reaches 4.0Ghz safely. He also was able to get to 4.5Ghz and 4.7Ghz but at those speeds he was pushing the voltages and the limits of this cpu. In your case I'd settle on what the cpu can do... or if possible 4.0Ghz - 4.2Ghz. Afterall, you don't wanna have the chip randomly die on you.

Here's the guide, refer to the last page for his overclock...

If all else fails, get a new cpu ;) like the 4790K http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117369
Sure its not the cheapest price, but for a cpu thats a pretty good price range, sure beats the price of $500 when I bought my used 980x. That 980x is one beast of a cpu though... I'm not complaining lol

I'm glad it helped ;) yeah GTA V should be playable... your graphics card is not too bad... and while it most likely wont be smooth at highest settings on high resolutions... low to medium settings should do fine on 1080p and much better on 720p...
