Do I Just Buy Windows 7 Again?

So I am getting a new harddrive since my 128gb ssd cannot hold just the os anymore since there are constant updates. I literally only have 20gb left. So I hate to say this but due to me not having a job since Im a kid, I cannot afford to get an mx/bx series ssd, so I have to downgrade to a hdd, a western digital black series for the time being. I do not have factory reset and stuff, so my options of that are crossed out. My only choice now is to buy windows 7 disc again. Let me know what you guys think. This is kinda not a question, but at the same time it is, im just bad at explaining situations.

For a new drive in the same system, no, you should not need to buy a new OS.

But...what is your 128GB SSD full of? Maybe we can move some stuff off of it.
My main system is a 120GB SSD. OS and all applications.

You need to find out what is using up all your space.

What you should do is keep the SSD and get a regular hard drive to save your media. For example... Install the 2nd hard drive and RELOCATE the following folders onto it:

Music
Photos
Videos
Documents (optional)
Downloads

And then create a new folder on the mechanical hard drive called Program Files (or any name)
and install all your games onto that.. and misc. programs... but keep like your drivers, Browser, media player, DVD/CD software, Office on the SSD.

I have mine set up similarly like that and on a fully loaded system I've never gone over 65GB on my SSD. It also makes my SSD Image Backups take only about 2-3 min. to complete.

The windows was company installed, and this is kinda a custom pc, so things have been upgraded alot. I only have my os on my ssd, everything I download or install is in my 1tb harddrive. My ssd only has 25 gigs left for some reason. I cleaned with ccleaner, and disk cleanup.

I once had a storage problem on my SSD a while back. Something kept eating up all my space. After some digging I found out the problem. I went to folder option to show hidden folders and found like a 150GB file that my SSD utility program kept creating every time I manually ran the Optimize/Trim command. It was some kind of bug.
