How did you learn how to build your own computer? I've been trying to learn how to build my own rig for years now and there's still so much I need to learn. The more I learn about building the more I realize that I have so much more to learn. When did you know you were ready to build your rig? I know that I have so much more to learn before I start choosing parts and building. When will I know I'm ready?

Reading and then trial/error. Despite what you may think, it is relatively straightforward.

Mostly reading to pick parts... Took 6 months of changing selections. Then when it came to build... newegg tv on YouTube had a really nice videoguide. Pc build tutorial. Think it was 3 eps. Ala pc builds for dummies. Would never have thought to do a bench build before installing to case without them.
