Hi,

So about 2 weeks ago I Updated my drivers to the GTA V game ready drivers, I did the install over night so I am unaware if anything went wrong. After having several problems with my Nvidia drivers stop responding I have viewed task manger and noticed that my CPU usage is always at 100%, and my Physical Memory seems high. I noticed that when I played games, such as CS:GO, It would take up around 800,000 memory is this normal? I'm not an expertise on any of this and I could run the game perfectly fine, but never bothered to check how much Memory it took. Also, I noted that my "Free" Memory went from around 150, to 10 in about 5 minutes. Is this a Memory Leak? Or are these things just normal? I thought this could be the source of my Nvidia Kernel mode drivers crashing as I have made a post about it, but never received a response. I have all my drivers up to date, (According to Driver Booster) I have scheduled Defrag's for Thursday every week, my temperatures are also normal. I don't understand what could be the problem as I never had a problem like this before until I updated my drivers to the latest ones and even rolling the drivers back doesn't help at all. please help!

Any Help in advanced is much appreciated!

Google Chrome has been having this memory leak issue. I had to switch away from it a few months ago.

I would suggest an alternate browser. I have been using Firefox and have not had the memory issue. Also, the free utility CleanMem can help to both monitor your memory usage in real time, and periodically flush the memory and free up the memory not being actively used.

Hey thanks for the quick reply, although I do not believe google chrome is the problem because even at the desktop with nothing open It says I am using 2.15GB of my memory. Also could this be the reason why my Nvidia Kernel Mode Drivers constantly stop responding and come back when playing games? Because I noticed that when my drivers crash my Memory spikes, couple minutes ago I was on youtube, my drivers crashed and I checked my memory and it was at 3.5 gb used instead of 2.7

Nothing seems out of place, how exactly can I fix my Nvidia Kernel Driver constantly crashing, could you possibly help me out with this? I know it's kind of off the real topic but I thought a memory leak could be the problem. I have already tried bumping my TdrDelay, underclocking my gpu, re-rolling drivers. changing settings in the Nvidia Control Panel, and the PowerMizer Registry, none of them helped and I can't seem to find any other fix. This is obviously a huge problem because I can't play ANY of my games, or even watch YouTube without having to either close the game (Because it will be stuck on a White Screen, but the audio still plays in the background like it would be playable) or refresh the page.

Thanks in Advance, I'm am willing to try any fix possible and trying to refrain from RMA'ing the card

Nevermind! I have finally found a solution to my problems! To anyone who has this, and is in desperate need for a fix, download ComboFix, Let it run through and apparently I had some files that were corrupting my drivers! perfect fix and I can now play fluidly no problems!
