Hello everyone,

I am using a 46 inch haier led tv, which was connected to a denon avr 1311 amplifier. My PC is connected to the amplifier thru the ZOTAC NVDIA Graphics Card GT730. The system was working, however it stopped a few days ago. Both the PC and the DVI ports are working, however the HDMI port does not gave any signal. the NVDIA Control panel does not even detect either the TV or the amplifier. I have tried plugging the HDMI cable to the built in HDMI port, it does not have any signal either.

My motherboard is a MSI G97-GD65. please help. Thanks!

This is a classic problem between desktop graphics and tv output. You have first to understand graphics card HDMI output are naturally set for HD monitors not tv and this includes your graphics drivers as well. In order to display HDMI properly on tv sets you have to configure, within the display driver, the HDTV option and add the profiles be it 720p or 1080p. Go to your display options in the nvidia driver and add the profiles, then it should work when you plug it into the tv.

Thats one reason AMD drivers are better than Nvidia, for the fact it already has those profiles set up for different frequencies and resolution. Go see my other posts regarding another user having the same problem here http://tinyurl.com/na6gfua
