So 2 weeks ago i built myself a new pc and I have a few questions as I am new to this whole "build your own pc" thing.. My goal was to build a low budget gaming pc and I'm just wondering how successful i was, considering i have a budget.. Before i state my specs i know my GPU is out dated and my motherboard is shit...
My specs
Motherboard: MSI 970A-G43
RAM: 4gb DDR3 (going to be 8 in the next few days)
OS: window 7 64bit
PSU: rhino panther 450 w
CPU: AMD fx 6300 six core 3.5ghz
GPU: GeForce 8800gt EVGA 512 MB

So here are my questions:
What do i need to desperately upgrade first?
My friend is selling me his nvidia 750 for 80$ is that good?
Should I upgrade my power supply now or anytime soon for future upgrades?
My GPU is 80c idle and goes up to 110c while gaming and then lid is off and it has good airflow, what can be causing this?
Thank You So Much!
It's okay if you guys criticize, thats how i will learn!

You made an unfortunate choice in motherboard. without VPM heatsinks and with known thermal issues, it will be a challenge to overclock your CPU on that board, so you are really limited to stock clock there.

Your PSU was also a short-sighted choice. A good PSU is a 'forever' choice that can be re-used in future builds. Replacing the PSU is important. When it dies, hope that is does so quietly and safely.

Your CPU is outdated ,but has plenty of useful life. It is a good choice for a budget system.

Most gaming systems, including yours, are GPU limited, so that's where you will get the most instant performance improvement. What games are you playing and what is the resolution of the monitor that you have and what would you like to have?

How much memory does the 750 have, 1Gb or 2 Gb?

Hey, Thanks for the reply!
The 750 has 2gb, thats why I think its worth 80$ but no doubt its a huge upgrade from a 8800.
What psu do you reccomend? I heard corsair is the best?
Can you please tell me a good motherboard thats compatible with my CPU and a GeForce 750? Thats also Under 100$? I cant return my motherboard, it says so clearly on the box lol
I've heard Asus makes good motherboards and MSI is always usually cheaply made, the problem was i was to eager to build this system due to the fact that it was my first so i rushed it. But I've spent under 300$ and thats why everything is so low quality, especially my motherboard. But now I have another 200$ to add onto it so i can change a few things.

A new GTX 750 with 2Gb can be has for about $100, so $80 is a deal, but not so much of one. with rebates, a 2Gb GTX 750ti starts at $110.

This is the sort of motherboard I'd use. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-ga970aud3p. ($75)

Here's our advice http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2384024/motherboard-tier-list-970-chipset.html.

You don't need much of a PSU, just a good high-performance 'race car' PSU. Corsair is more of a 'truck' PSU.

This is about the cheapest I'd use. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/antec-power-supply-ea450green
