Need a PSU with 600 - 650 W range.

Currently using Corsair VS550.

Thinking of Seasonic M12II series with good Japanese capacitors.

Seasonic, Corsair, or Cooler Master. Corsair, or Cooler Master mostly preffered as there is service center near, but no service center for Seasonic or others.

Price if a factor. I am looking for a good value PSU.

No PSU under 600 watt please. Going to upgrade the GPU in future.
RAM upgrade coming soon.

I think, price has nothing really to do with PSU tier.
I was looking for a PSU last year, as cheapest possible, modular and about 650-750W rating.
The only one I could find was XFX XXX Pro 750W bronze, I was really surprised to see this PSU among the 1st. tier PSUs.
Perhaps it was on a special offer..dunno exactly.

I need to look at the hold up times. This thing is serious now. I am going to get an PSU within a couple of week or so.
Looking forward for Seasonisc stuff. Can you just follow Flipkart or Amazon India or Snapdeal please.

Ya, electricity is f-worded here. So, hold up time is huge matter. How about a Seasonic M12II 620W Evo?
Your suggestion seems interesting. How it compares in teir?

The Antec HCG series is a Tier 2 unit on the PSU Tier thread.

I couldn't find any info on hold-up times for that specific one. By the way, I can't tell if the model on that site is the modular or not. If it is modular it is a Seasonic, if not it is a Delta. But both are excellent models in the same tier.

Can it smoothly run on a stepped sine wave UPS?

Hey Subhajitdas I too am in the same boat as you please update if you have found a solution.
Really need to buy a good PSU preferably from Seasonic and want to know it will hold up with my generic non sine wave(microtek) ups.
Please keep me updated.
