MS Paint in Win 7 Pro

Solution
If there are particular picture files that you want your old program to open instead of the Paint program, and the other program is installed on your Windows 7 PC, you can right-click on the image file, click on "Open With...", then select the program from the list of suggested programs. If it's not on the list, there should be a "Browse..." or other button that lets you specify a particular program.

Why do you need to remove it? It won't load unless you actually click on it, or you try & open a file that has it set as the default app to open it with. And as for disk space, it's a very small program -- 6MB total -- that won't even make a CD-ROM blink, let alone a BD-ROM, flash drive, or your main drive.

Is there a particular reason why you want to remove it?

Thanks for helping me. Being in my mid eighties, I find things are sometimes a little difficult ! Regards clicking on it, when I want to open a photo the mspaint always comes up. Apart from that I've tried a previous suggestion whereby I go into Control/Add and Rem.....but no Win Setup tab is shown ! I have been using a photo editing program for years using XP3 Pro but since building a new PC with Win7 Pro and having my old trusted NCH program loaded correctly, it just isn't available. Perhaps mspaint can be 'hidden ? Thank you again and my kind regards Derek Miles in the UK.
