Hello Everyone,

So every since my computer got wiped, I had been searching for an OS, and now I have it. I have Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. I am actually borrowing my friends copy because I am not able to find it in stores anymore. (Maybe I'm stupid). But anyways, I have everything except for a product key, any place I could buy a product key without the actual disk?

- Thanks,
Cheez

I think they've made it more difficult, but as far as I know, you can still get them. I almost ordered another Win7 key from them recently, but realized they'd likely re-activate the one I had since I'd bought it from them in the first place a year or so ago, and the system it was on was being replaced.
Fortunately, they did indeed, which was nice because it was Win7 Ultimate, not just Home Premium.

"Grey market" sources for keys are not allowed. The licenses themselves may be legitimate, but the holder typically has been expressly forbidden by contract to resell them. People doing that anyway is why Technet got shut down; in any case these are not allowed to be discussed here. Even REDDIT is not allowing these listings any longer.

From the site:
"Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Reinstallation CD (Dell version) works on all brands of systems or custom built systems. The disk is a reinstallation CD, but it installs the complete program on any computer. -Unique Product Key and certificate of authenticity license which will validate with Microsoft and activate."
Yes, it is a legitimate license. No, it is NOT authorized for resale this way. We do not support the sale of licenses in this manner.
