My 670 sc 4 gb gets quite hot under load and is also quite noisy, that said, performance has been fine so far.
I am at the point where I am wondering if an upgrade is in order, note that I am the kind of person who likes to stick to a component for several years, so I am looking for an efficient and worthwhile point of upgrade.
Worth mentioning is that I am planning to not only play new titles but also record while maintaining reasonable fps, one of the reasons im considering an upgrade.
While i have been looking at gtx 970 performance charts, I couldnt find any comparable charts of the 670 sc 4GB and so have no point of reference when gauging performance gain.
If upgrading, I would prefer a Gygabite 970, are those known to be quiet ?
In any case, what kind of performance gain are we looking at here for 1080p gaming + recording ?
