I am new to the pc game and decided to just build a cheaper one. I have everything except a motherboard. Someone gave me an older chip out of a computer they had been using for parts, it's an i5 2400. So I need a motherboard that will work with an 1155 Chipset. I plan on buying a better cpu when I have the funds so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on this motherboard. The rest of the build is an r9 280 graphics card, 16g ddr3 g skill sniper 1866, and a xfx ts 550w power supply. There is a motherboard in the case but it won't work with the graphics card. I have tried every solution in these forums, and nothing has worked. The price range I am looking for is 100, but cheaper would be nice since.
