I just got done assembling a pc with windows 8.1and as soon as I installed the nvidia drivers and restarted,the monitor goes into power saving mode.The monitor is a dell u2412m.I've tried a fresh install of windows 8.1 using a crt monitor and it runs fine with the nvidia drivers installed.But upon connecting with the dell monitor,I get the power saving mode on startup.
The monitor runs fine when I'm connected to the pc via onboard graphics.
I've even tried an install with windows 7.same issue.
