Hello everyone. I'm probably going to upgrade the graphics cards in a few months. After some extensive reading, I determined that two GTX 970s are the best value I can get for my price range. Most people seemed to think that two 970s were better than a single 980. The particular model of 970 I found that looks the best was the MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G Graphics Card. I would have gone with an EVGA 970 but I have heard that they have (or at last have had) problems with cooling. My current graphics cards are two AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series cards. Here are my questions:
1) Will putting in two 970s be more powerful than my two 7900s?
2) Are the two 970s compatible with my PC (see specs below)?
3) Are there any alternative models of 970s you would suggest over the MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G Graphics Card?

Specs:
Processor: Intel Core i7 3930K @ 3.20GHz
Physical Memory: 32GB DDR3-SDRAM
Video Card: 2 AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series
Storage: 250 GB SSD, 3 TB HDD
Operating System: Windows 7
Motherboard: Aurora-R4

If you need me to clarify anything, please feel free to ask.

Solution
1. Yes, very much so
2. Yes, without issue
3. The MSI are great, and also gigabyte g1 gaming.

As for cooling, I'm sure if your setup is keeping the 7900's cool it should be okay for the 970's.
