The above mentioned device I have no PCIe slots for it. Would an adapter to the MSATA port work, I don't know the speed of mSata. Or if there are better ways please let me know. I was on the phone with StarTeck and no help there. ANYBODY ANYTHING I dont want a $500 paper weight

In the XPS 8700, the mSATA will run at SATAIII speeds. So if you find a viable adapter it would be limited to SATAIII.

I also saw that your system has a total of four PCIe slots, the x16 is usually occupied by the graphics card and may block the neighboring slot. The PCIe slot closest to the edge of the board should be the x4 slot which if available the HyperX Predator PCIe should be able to work in.

Hi kman1960,
The HyperX Predator PCIe M.2 SSD has not been tested with any mSATA adapters so it is not guaranteed to work. If you do get one make sure it is for an M-key M.2 otherwise it will not fit in the slot. The speed of mSATA is usually at SATAIII speeds. So if the mSATA adapter works the SSD would be limited to around 550-600MB/s transfer speeds if not hindered by the adapter or any other system cap.

If you can tell me the make and model of your computer or motherboard, I can do some more research for you to see what you can do.

Thank you for choosing Kingston HyperX as your upgrade partner!

I thought the documentation on the system was odd. It says there is one x16, two x1 and one x4 in the specifications sheet and then shows one x16 and three x1 in the diagram in the manual. So it's hard to call which is right without going into the system and looking at the PCIe configuration.
