Hey all,

I built my rig ~10 months ago:

CPU: i7-4790K
Mobo: Asus Z87I-Deluxe LGA 1150 Intel Z87 Mini ITX
PSU: Seasonic SSR-550RM 550W
GPU: GTX 780

Issue:

It's been working flawlessly until today. When turning it on, the fans start up for maybe half a second and shut off.

What I've done:

- Pulled mobo out onto cardboard
- Disconnected most everything; all we have is a mobo, cpu & it's fan, psu, and ram
- Tried all combinations of ram sticks
- Re-set cpu with new paste
- Tried another psu
- Reset bios battery
- Jumped with screwdriver instead of pwr button

None of these things has changed the original result.

The motherboard "SB Power" light is always green.

I'm out of ideas, and don't know where to go from here.

Thanks, everyone.

what would you expect the results to be if it were the cpu? out of curiosity.

i will purchase a new mobo tomorrow and report back with results. thank you for your help!
